Remy frames them as Figma. Steeper learning curve, but the possibilities are endless once you know what you're doing. They're still good for the rigid stuff that never needs judgment.

The change worth knowing: anything that needs real thinking is moving to AI agent. Six months ago you'd build a complicated multi-step workflow in n8n; now it's just a Claude Skills. So Remy still reaches for them when the system doesn't need to think, but treats them as on borrowed time for everything that does.

If you're starting out, here's the rule of thumb. Predictable Trigger, fixed steps, no decisions to make? n8n or Make is fine. The moment a step needs to read something, weigh it, and decide what to do next, that's agent territory now.
