Vibe coding is building software or websites by describing what you want to an AI in plain English and letting it write the code. You don't need a coding background. You say "build me a landing page that does X," and it writes it for you.

That alone is wild if you think about where we were a year ago. Going from never having touched code to shipping a real website live on your own domain.

The catch is that vibe-coded apps look the same. Without a real design system guiding the AI, you get the same layouts, the same fonts, the same feel, because the model fills the gaps with whatever's most average. So the build is the easy part now. Making it not look like everyone else's is where the work moved.
